Introduction
Valtech FitLib Base is a basic Plug n' Test environment / framework based on FitNesse supporting the creation of automated system and acceptance tests.
VT FitLib uses the FitNesse and FitLibrary open source projects to offer a bunch of useful features for the quick creation of coherent and meaningful regression tests.
Look in the Sample Suite Results to get a deeper insight. To use the FitLib Base environment basic FitNesse and Java know-how is required.
Feature Overview
 Database test data via domain objects - build and map test objects to database content using a domain specific language on your FitNesse test pages, thus setting up and modifyfing your database test data easily
Check database content in your tests with a compact DB check fixture
Watchdogs for log file analysis - e.g. watch for errors or warnings in an application log file and analyze the results with FitNesse. Matches in log files are rendered in FitNesse result pages, thus giving you a quick overview what went wrong
FitLibColumnFixture - a column fixture based on the FIT-ColumFixture look&feel with additional FitLibrary autowrapping support for e.g. objects and collections
Parse support for specific data, e.g dates, regular expressions, etc.
Custom FitNesse widgets - e.g. multi line comments
In the current version a FitNesse server is also included.
